Website – bachatacore.com and its subpages.
User – a person who uses the Website or Bachata Core.
Customer – a person who purchases or holds a Bachata Core subscription.

Subscription – paid recurring access to Bachata Core for the selected billing period, including monthly or annual plans.
Stripe Managed Payments – Stripe’s merchant-of-record solution under which Sold through Link, LLC or another applicable Stripe entity acts as merchant of record for covered transactions and handles, among other things, payment, indirect tax, transaction support and certain post-sale processes.
Skool – the third-party platform used to provide the Bachata Core course and community.
3. Scope of Bachata Core
Bachata Core is an online educational program focused on movement fundamentals and bachata dance. The current scope of materials, features, bonuses and community elements is described on the Website before purchase.
- access to pre-recorded streamed audio-visual lessons;
- written materials, exercises or supporting files where included in the relevant plan;
- access to the Bachata Core community hosted on Skool;
- updates and new materials where included in an active Subscription.
Bachata Core is an educational service. We do not guarantee any particular dance, artistic, professional, fitness or performance outcome. Results depend on factors including practice, individual ability and training conditions.
4. Technical requirements
To use Bachata Core you need at least:
- a device with Internet access and a current web browser;
- an active email address;
- the ability to stream audio and video;
- a Skool account meeting Skool’s eligibility requirements where a feature is provided through Skool.
Internet and device costs are borne by the User. Availability and compatibility of third-party services may depend on their providers.
5. Age and minors
Bachata Core may contain educational content suitable for younger dancers, but access to third-party platforms is subject to their own age requirements.
- A Skool account may only be held by a person who meets Skool’s minimum age requirement; Skool currently requires users to be at least 13 years old.
- A person aged 13–17 may use Bachata Core independently only to the extent permitted by the law applicable where they live and, where required, with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
- A child under 13 must not create a Skool account. A parent or guardian who wishes a younger child to benefit from the materials should contact us before purchase so that an access arrangement compatible with applicable law and platform rules can be confirmed.
Skool credentials are personal and must not be transferred or shared contrary to Skool’s terms.
6. Ordering and activation
An order is placed on the Website as follows:
- the Customer clicks a purchase button - an order window opens on the Website;
- the Customer selects a plan (monthly or annual) and ticks a declaration accepting these Terms and requesting immediate access to the digital content before the withdrawal period ends (section 11); it is not possible to proceed to payment without ticking the declaration;
- the Stripe payment form is displayed in the same window, where the Customer provides the required information (including an email address and payment method details) and submits the order using a button that clearly indicates an obligation to pay.
Once Stripe confirms the payment, our system automatically sends an invitation to the Bachata Core community on Skool to the email address entered in the payment form (section 13), and the order window displays a confirmation that the payment has been received. Stripe/Link sends a transaction confirmation to that address.
Where Stripe Managed Payments is used for a transaction, Sold through Link, LLC or another applicable Stripe entity acts as merchant of record and facilitates the sale of the product on our behalf. The payment transaction may also be subject to Stripe/Link terms shown at checkout. These Terms govern the Service Provider’s provision of and the User’s access to Bachata Core.
7. Prices, currencies and taxes
The current price, billing period, currency and total amount payable are displayed before an order is placed and at checkout. The Website may offer, among other options, a monthly plan and an annual plan.
With Stripe Managed Payments, prices may be presented in a local currency and applicable indirect taxes such as VAT, GST or sales tax may be calculated and remitted by Stripe as merchant of record. The amount shown before payment is confirmed is binding for that transaction, subject to obvious technical errors.
Promotions, discounts and coupon codes are subject to the conditions stated for the relevant offer and are not cumulative unless expressly stated otherwise.
8. Subscription and automatic renewal
Bachata Core is offered on a Subscription basis. Unless clearly stated otherwise before purchase:
- a monthly plan renews automatically every month;
- an annual plan renews automatically once a year;
- the fee for the next billing period is charged in advance at the start of that period.
The Customer can turn off automatic renewal before the next renewal date. After cancellation, access will generally remain active until the end of the already-paid billing period unless applicable law, Stripe/Link procedures, an agreed refund or specific circumstances require otherwise.
9. Cancelling a Subscription
A Subscription can be cancelled through the subscription-management mechanism made available to the Customer, including a Link account / Stripe customer portal, a link or instructions provided in a subscription-related email, or by contacting us at contact@bachatacore.com.
Cancellation prevents the next automatic renewal. It is not, by itself, a request for a refund of the current billing period. If a Customer cannot use the available cancellation method, they should contact us promptly.
Stripe/Link may provide its own tools for managing subscriptions, updating payment methods and handling transaction support.
When a Subscription ends - in particular after it is cancelled and the paid period expires, or after unsuccessful attempts to collect payment for the next period - we remove the Customer’s membership of the Bachata Core community on Skool (section 13).
10. Price changes
We may change plan prices for new Customers at any time. A change to the price of an active automatically renewing Subscription will be communicated in advance where required by law or by the nature of the change. A new price will not be applied retroactively to a billing period that has already been paid.
Where applicable law requires the Customer’s consent to a price change, the change will take effect only after such consent is obtained or through another method permitted by law.
11. Withdrawal / cooling-off rights for EU/EEA Consumers
A Consumer who enters into an online contract generally has 14 days to withdraw without giving a reason, unless a statutory exception applies. Bachata Core includes both digital content and elements of a continuous digital service, so the effect of starting performance may differ depending on the particular element and the law applicable to the Consumer.
Where a Consumer requests that a service start during the withdrawal period, we may begin performance after obtaining the required request or declaration. If the Consumer validly withdraws after performance has begun, the Consumer may be required to pay an amount proportionate to the service supplied up to the time of withdrawal where applicable law so provides.
For paid digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, the Consumer may lose the right of withdrawal once supply begins if, before supply begins, the Consumer has expressly consented, acknowledged the resulting loss of the withdrawal right, and received any confirmation required by law on a durable medium.
Before proceeding to payment, the Customer ticks a declaration in the order window reading: “I accept the Terms of Service and request immediate access to the digital content before the withdrawal period ends. I acknowledge that I thereby lose my right of withdrawal.” It is not possible to proceed to payment without ticking the declaration. We record the content, date and version of the declaration together with the transaction data.
A withdrawal can be sent to contact@bachatacore.com by any clear statement. A model form is included in Appendix 1, but use of the form is optional. Consumers outside the EU/EEA retain any mandatory cancellation or cooling-off rights granted by the law applicable where they live.
12. Refunds
Except where required by applicable law or expressly offered under a specific refund guarantee, we do not provide an automatic refund for the unused portion of a billing period merely because the Customer decides to stop using the service.
Refund requests may be handled by us or by Stripe/Link depending on the role of each party in the transaction, applicable law and payment-support procedures. Stripe Managed Payments may handle transaction-related requests, including refunds and disputes, under its own procedures.
This section does not limit any mandatory rights relating to non-conforming digital content or digital services.
13. Skool access and user accounts
After payment is confirmed, our system automatically sends an invitation to the Bachata Core community on Skool to the email address entered in the payment form - usually within a few minutes. If sending the invitation temporarily fails, the system retries automatically; the payment is not charged again. To gain access, the Customer accepts the invitation and - if they do not yet have a Skool account - creates one.
The Customer is responsible for providing a correct email address. If the invitation has not arrived within an hour of payment (please also check the Spam and Promotions folders), please contact us at contact@bachatacore.com.
- the account and login credentials are intended for one authorised person and must not be shared with third parties;
- the User must protect their password and promptly report suspected unauthorised access;
- use of Skool is also subject to Skool’s current terms and policies;
- when a Subscription ends, we remove the membership of the Bachata Core community on Skool; we do so after receiving information from Stripe that the Subscription has ended, so removal may take place with some delay.
14. Community rules
Users must treat other members respectfully and must not post unlawful content or content inconsistent with the educational purpose of the community. In particular, Users must not:
- harass, threaten, discriminate against, repeatedly insult or engage in hate speech toward another person;
- send spam, unsolicited promotion, scams or encourage unlawful conduct;
- publish another person’s personal, private or confidential information without a lawful basis;
- infringe copyright, image rights, trademarks or other third-party rights;
- publish sexual, violent or other content inappropriate for the nature of the educational community.
We may moderate, hide or remove content that breaches these rules and may restrict or terminate access for serious or repeated breaches, subject to mandatory consumer rights and proportionality.
15. User Content
Users retain ownership of content they create and post in the community. By posting content, the User grants the Service Provider a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence limited to storing, technically processing, displaying and making that content available to authorised community members as necessary to operate Bachata Core.
The User represents that they have all rights and permissions needed to post the content. Users should not post special-category data or private information about other people unless necessary and lawful.
16. Intellectual property and licence to course materials
Bachata Core materials, including videos, text, graphics, exercises, content structure, PDFs, marks and brand elements, are protected by copyright and/or other intellectual property rights and belong to the Service Provider or its licensors.
For the duration of active access, the User receives a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-commercial licence to use the materials solely for their own learning and training.
Without our prior permission, Users must not:
- copy, screen-record, reproduce or distribute course materials except through functions expressly made available by us;
- share the course, account, files or recordings with third parties;
- resell, sublicense, republish or use course materials in another paid course or product;
- scrape, automatically download or create databases from Bachata Core materials.
Personal notes and use of the materials for their intended learning purpose are permitted.
17. Physical activity and health information
Bachata Core includes instruction and exercises involving physical activity. The materials are educational and are not medical, physiotherapy or diagnostic advice.
- Users should train in a safe space and adapt intensity to their own ability;
- exercise should be stopped if the User experiences pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, injury or other concerning symptoms;
- anyone with a medical condition, injury, recent procedure or health concern should seek advice from an appropriate professional before training.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
18. Availability, updates and changes to Bachata Core
We may update, develop or modify Bachata Core, including adding lessons, reorganising modules, changing technical solutions or platforms, where this supports development, security or service quality.
Where a material change to a continuous digital service adversely affects access or use beyond what a Consumer could reasonably expect, the Consumer retains any rights granted by mandatory law. We will provide notices of material changes where required by law.
Short technical interruptions may occur for maintenance, updates, network failures or third-party service issues. We use reasonable efforts to minimise their impact.
19. Complaints and conformity of the digital service
Complaints about Bachata Core can be submitted to contact@bachatacore.com. To help us resolve a complaint efficiently, please include the email address used for the purchase, a description of the issue, when it occurred and the remedy requested.
Where Polish consumer law applies, we respond to a Consumer complaint within 14 days of receiving it unless a shorter period is required by law. Consumers retain statutory remedies for non-conforming digital content or digital services, which may include bringing the service into conformity, a price reduction, or termination/withdrawal as applicable.
Payment-transaction issues may also be handled by Stripe/Link in accordance with Stripe Managed Payments procedures.
20. Suspension or termination by us
We may temporarily suspend or terminate access to Bachata Core where:
- payment has failed or the Subscription has expired;
- there is a serious or repeated breach of these Terms or the community rules;
- the account or materials are shared with unauthorised persons;
- conduct threatens the security of systems, other users or the Service Provider;
- we are required to do so by law or a competent authority.
Where a breach can reasonably be remedied, we may first ask the User to stop or remedy the breach. This does not apply where immediate action is necessary for security, legal compliance or protection of others. Any mandatory refund or other consumer rights remain unaffected.
21. Liability
The Service Provider is responsible for performing its obligations in accordance with applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory Consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
We do not guarantee any particular dance, fitness, artistic, professional or financial result. The User is responsible for how they perform exercises and for decisions made on the basis of the materials, subject always to any liability of the Service Provider imposed by law.
We are not responsible for interruptions caused solely by the User’s device, Internet connection or third-party service on the User’s side. If a third-party platform outage prevents delivery of Bachata Core for a material period, we will take reasonable steps to restore access or provide a solution consistent with applicable law.
22. Privacy and cookies
Personal-data processing is described in the Bachata Core Privacy Policy, and the use of cookies and similar technologies is described in the Cookie Policy. Both are available on the Website. Acceptance of these Terms is not consent to marketing or non-essential cookies; where required, those consents are collected separately.
23. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms and the relationship with the Service Provider are governed by Polish law. This choice of law does not deprive a Consumer of protection provided by mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which the Consumer habitually resides where those provisions apply.
Consumer disputes may be heard by competent courts in accordance with applicable consumer-jurisdiction rules. Consumers may also use available out-of-court dispute-resolution mechanisms in their country. In Poland, information on consumer assistance and ADR is available through the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK), the Trade Inspection and local consumer ombudsmen.
For Customers who are not Consumers, the courts having jurisdiction over the Service Provider’s registered office will have jurisdiction unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
24. Changes to these Terms
We may amend these Terms for valid reasons, including changes in law, payment model, technology providers, Bachata Core features, security requirements or the way the service is provided.
Material changes affecting an active Subscription will be communicated in advance as appropriate to the change and as required by law. Amendments do not remove accrued rights or mandatory remedies. The current version is always available on the Website with its effective date.
25. Final provisions
If any provision of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Matters not covered by these Terms are governed by applicable law and, where third-party services are used, by the terms of the relevant provider.
Version 1.1 of these Terms takes effect on 27 September 2026.
